2-Strand Spiral 4-in-1 Bracelet Project

Spiral 4-in-1 is a simple spiraling chainmaille chain weave. It can be woven to spiral in either direction, and makes a great draped accent to certain designs. However, the neat spiral look of the weave “unravels” if the two ends of the chain aren’t secured in place, resulting in limited functionality. Careful thought must be put into how this weave is incorporated into designs.Spiral 4-in-1 is called such because each link is connected to four other links, thus each link has four-links-in-one link. This Spiral weave is essentially a linear chain version of Mobius, so understanding how to create Mobius units will help you get started with this weave.Note: The left-handed perspective videos are going to result in a chain spiraling in the opposite direction of the associated right-handed perspective video.Recommended Prerequisite Courses:<ul><li><a target="" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.theartisanacademy.com/course-detail/chainmaille-basics/13370/">Chainmaille Basics</a></li><li><a target="" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.theartisanacademy.com/course-detail/mobius/39815/">Mobius</a></li></ul>I film these courses using my phone, and I position the phone in such a way that it is between me and what I’m weaving, causing me to use the phone’s screen to see what I’m working on. This means that you literally see the same thing I see when I’m filming.I am right-handed, and as such I film the videos from a right-handed perspective. However, every weaving video is copied and then flipped horizontally, to show the left-handed perspective as well.
